--- title: "Terms of Use" description: "Terms for using babelqueue.com: CC BY 4.0 site content, MIT-licensed software, acceptable use, no warranty and how changes take effect." source: https://babelqueue.com/terms-of-use/ updated: 2026-10-08T00:00:00.000Z --- # Terms of Use By using babelqueue.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. ## Scope These terms cover the website babelqueue.com: its documentation, blog, glossary and other pages. They do not cover the BabelQueue software, which has its own licence (see below), or external sites the pages link to. ## Site content versus software licence - **Site content.** Unless a page says otherwise, the text of this site is licensed under [Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). You may share and adapt it, including commercially, if you give appropriate credit, link to the licence and indicate if you made changes. The BabelQueue and Tignex names and logos are not covered by this licence. - **Software.** The BabelQueue SDKs are released under the MIT licence. The `LICENSE` file in each repository at [github.com/BabelQueue](https://github.com/BabelQueue) is the authoritative text for that code. - **Code examples.** Code snippets shown on this site are licensed under the MIT licence, the same as the SDKs, so you can paste them into your own projects without attribution requirements beyond that licence. ## Acceptable use Please do not use the site to break the law, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or its hosting, or overload it with abusive automated traffic. Ordinary crawling and indexing are welcome. Found a security problem? Report it privately as described on the [Contact](/contact/) page. ## No warranty and limitation of liability The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep the documentation accurate, but it may contain mistakes or fall behind the software; where the documentation and the [wire contract](/docs/spec/1.x/introduction/) disagree, the contract wins. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. ## Changes and effective date We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the updated terms apply from that date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions about these terms? See [Contact](/contact/).
